In Adana, 44 kilograms of cannabis were seized inside a suitcase hidden among offal. The 4 people caught in connection with the incident were arrested by the court.

Teams from the Adana Police Department's Anti-Narcotics Crimes Branch received information that there was cannabis inside a panel van carrying offal during their efforts to prevent drug shipments coming from eastern provinces.
Narcotics police followed and stopped the vehicle in question. During the search of the vehicle, police found a suitcase hidden among pieces of offal.
Inside the suitcase, 44 kilograms of cannabis were seized. Orhan A. (30), Furkan A. (23), Haydar Talip C. (24), and Deniz K. (33) were taken into custody in connection with the incident.
The 4 suspects, who were referred to the courthouse after their procedures at the police station, were arrested by the court.
