In a statement issued by the Eskişehir Governor's Office, it was stated that a decision was made to ban entry to forested areas from July 1 to September 15, due to the expectation that temperatures across the province will remain above seasonal norms and that the risk of fires may increase due to population mobility.

The statement also announced that lighting charcoal grills, samovars, fires, and controlled fires in picnic and recreational areas in the center and districts of Eskişehir is prohibited every evening from 8:00 PM until 9:00 AM the following morning during the same period.

The statement, which included the areas across the province where entry is prohibited, used the following expression: "It has been decided that legal action will be taken against those who do not comply with these measures and prohibitions in accordance with the Forest Law, the Environmental Law, and the Turkish Penal Code, depending on the nature of the offense, and administrative action will be taken in accordance with the Misdemeanors Law in cases requiring a fine."
