The expected snowfall has begun in Istanbul
According to warnings from the General Directorate of Meteorology and AKOM, snowfall was expected in 28 districts of Istanbul. The anticipated snow has arrived in Istanbul.

Snowfall continues intermittently in some districts of Istanbul.
The General Directorate of Meteorology noted that snow is expected in Adalar, Arnavutköy, Ataşehir, Avcılar, Bağcılar, Başakşehir, Bayrampaşa, Beykoz, Beylikdüzü, Çatalca, Çekmeköy, Esenler, Esenyurt, Eyüp, Gaziosmanpaşa, Kadıköy, Kağıthane, Kartal, Küçükçekmece, Maltepe, Pendik, Sancaktepe, Sarıyer, Şile, Silivri, Sultanbeyli, Sultangazi, Tuzla, Ümraniye, and Üsküdar, while sleet is expected in the other nine districts.
The Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) Disaster Coordination Center (AKOM) had also stated that snowfall was expected in Istanbul on Wednesday and Thursday.
