Father and son fight in Niğde: Person trying to intervene shot and killed
In Niğde, a person was shot and killed with a handgun while trying to break up a fight between a father and his son.

A fight broke out for an unknown reason between H.A. (45) and his son C.A. (19) in the town of Bağlama, located in the central district of Niğde.
M.A. (52), who wanted to break up the fight, was wounded in the back by a bullet fired from C.A.'s handgun.
Upon notification, gendarmerie and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.
M.A., who was taken to the Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University Training and Research Hospital by ambulance, lost his life despite all interventions.
The suspect C.A., who fled after the incident, was taken into custody by gendarmerie teams.
