A fire broke out for reasons yet to be determined in a landfill area in the Yenifoça neighborhood of İzmir's Foça district.
The flames spread to the forest area due to the effect of the wind.
INTERVENTION UNDERWAY
Upon notification, 9 aircraft, 2 helicopters, 30 water tenders, 6 water supply vehicles, 5 bulldozers, 8 ground crews, and fire department teams belonging to the İzmir Regional Directorate of Forestry were dispatched to the region.
Teams are currently intervening in the fire.
