A fire broke out in the early hours of the morning in a forested area located within the borders of Bahçederesi Neighborhood in the Silifke district of Mersin.
Those who saw the flames reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Command Center. The center dispatched teams affiliated with the Silifke Forest Management Directorate to the region.
It was reported that teams consisting of fire trucks and forest workers reached the area and began intervention.
It was stated that aerial support has also been directed to the fire, which has caused smoke to cover the area as far as Taşucu Neighborhood due to the effect of the wind.
