Found with their bodies burned: The testimony of the perpetrator in the father-son murder in Diyarbakır is chilling!
It has been revealed that Remzi Sati and his son Muhammet Sati, whose bodies were found in a burned-out pickup truck in the central Sur district of Diyarbakır, were murdered over a 200,000 lira debt.

The investigation launched by the Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into the discovery of the bodies of Remzi Sati (49) and his son Muhammet Sati (15) in a burned-out pickup truck in the rural Kuşburnu neighborhood on May 19 is ongoing.
Within the scope of the investigation, the bodies of the father and son were sent to the Istanbul Council of Forensic Medicine for autopsy procedures, while 7 empty shell casings found in the burned vehicle and 500 meters away, as well as evidence such as a burned phone, business cards, and a flashlight, were sent to the Van Gendarmerie Criminal Laboratory Directorate for examination.
Following the examination of 735 hours of camera footage from the day of the incident by the Gendarmerie Crime Investigation Team (JASAT), which was specially formed to solve the case, security forces obtained a confession from one of the suspects, Ali Mert İ.
HE BURNED THE PICKUP TRUCK TO DESTROY THE EVIDENCE
The suspect Ali Mert İ. (25), who was arrested as part of the investigation, stated in his testimony that he was owed 200,000 lira by Remzi Sati and that he had invited him to the scene on the day of the incident to talk.
Ali Mert İ. confessed that after killing Remzi Sati and his son Muhammet Sati, who had arrived at the scene, with his own handgun, he burned the pickup truck to destroy the evidence.
CRIME SCENE RECONSTRUCTION CONDUCTED
Following his confession, teams from the District Gendarmerie Command, JASAT, and two Public Order Commando Teams conducted a crime scene reconstruction with the suspect Ali Mert İ. in the Kuşburnu neighborhood and at the scene of the incident.
Upon the suspect's indication, the handgun used in the incident was recovered, hidden in a tree 150 meters from his home. Additionally, the cologne and gasoline bottle used to burn the pickup truck, a flashlight, and the jacket he wore that day were found in the suspect's home.
WHAT HAPPENED?
Following the incident, within the scope of the investigation launched by the Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, gendarmerie teams had detained Mehmet D. (26), Mehmet K. (44), İshak K. (40), Ali Mert İ, Ali Ö. (32), Osman K. (44), and Ayhan İ. (58).
Of the suspects referred to the courthouse, Mehmet D, Mehmet K, İshak K, and Ali Mert İ. were arrested, while 3 were released, 2 of them under judicial control conditions.
