Due to heavy snowfall and freezing conditions in Sakarya, the Governor's Office has issued a one-day ban on motorcycle couriers operating in traffic.

The Sakarya Governor's Office has taken a new decision to protect life and property safety due to the adverse weather conditions continuing across the province.
In the statement made by the Governor's Office, it was noted, "Due to the heavy snowfall and freezing conditions affecting our province, it has been assessed that vehicles performing deliveries via motorcycle couriers may pose a danger to life and property safety in traffic. In this context, vehicles performing deliveries via motorcycle couriers are prohibited from entering traffic for one day on January 1, 2026."
