Investigation launched into factory fire in Çekmeköy
The Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation into the fire that broke out at a sponge factory in Çekmeköy.

The fire occurred at around 10:00 PM last night at a sponge factory located in Alemdağ Neighborhood. Upon notification, fire department, AFAD, and UMKE teams were dispatched to the scene.
As a result of the long-lasting efforts of the fire crews, the fire was brought under control and extinguished. While there were no deaths or injuries in the fire, the factory sustained extensive damage.
INVESTIGATION LAUNCHED
An investigation has been launched by the Istanbul Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the fire at the sponge factory. The cause of the fire will be determined.
