Investigation launched into healthcare worker who joined 'hair braiding' trend

It has been determined that a public healthcare worker participated in the 'hair braiding' trend, which emerged as a reaction to the cutting of a YPG terrorist organization member's hair in Syria and has been supported by some DEM Party deputies. It was identified that the individual shared the moments they braided their hair on their personal social media account.
Following the spread of the posts, the Kocaeli Provincial Health Directorate intervened. In a written statement issued by the directorate, it was stated that such posts by personnel serving under the Ministry of Health are contrary to the Civil Servants Law and the Ethical Conduct Principles for Public Officials.
The statement announced that both a judicial and an administrative investigation have been launched into the personnel in question and that the process is being followed meticulously.
