ISIS operation in 35 provinces: 184 detained, 22 arrested
The Ministry of Interior announced that 184 people were apprehended in simultaneous operations against ISIS across 35 provinces over the last two weeks. While 22 of the suspects were arrested, a large number of weapons and organizational materials were seized.

The Ministry of Interior has shared the results of operations conducted against the terrorist organization ISIS over the last two weeks. A total of 184 suspects were detained in operations carried out across 35 provinces in Turkey.
According to the statement from the Ministry, the operations were coordinated by the General Directorate of Security Intelligence Department, the Counter-Terrorism (TEM) Department, and the National Intelligence Organization (MİT). Simultaneous raids were conducted by TEM branch teams affiliated with provincial police departments in line with the instructions of the Public Prosecutor's Offices.
In the operations, 184 individuals were detained who were determined to have previously operated within ISIS, had active arrest warrants, or were assessed to have provided financing to the organization.
22 SUSPECTS ARRESTED
The suspects, whose procedures at the police station were completed, were referred to the courthouse. Of the suspects, 22 were arrested by the judgeships they were brought before and sent to prison. While judicial control measures were imposed on 33 people, it was reported that the processing of the other suspects is ongoing.
WEAPONS AND ORGANIZATIONAL MATERIALS SEIZED
It was announced that 8 unlicensed pistols, 1 unlicensed rifle, and a large number of organizational documents and digital materials were seized during the searches conducted as part of the operations.
