Male body found in a bay in Datça, Muğla

An unidentified male body was found in Çatı Bay, located in the Körmen area of Datça, Muğla.

Following reports from citizens who spotted the dismembered male body, Coast Guard teams were dispatched to the region. The underwater diving team from the Datça Coast Guard Command recovered the body from the location and handed it over to the funeral vehicle.

It was learned that the body will be sent to the Yerkesik Forensic Medicine Institute for identification. The Datça Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation into the incident.
