Man angry at snowball throwers gets out without pulling handbrake, vehicle rolls downhill and crashes

In Başakşehir, two people playing with snowballs threw them at a light commercial vehicle as it was driving by. The driver, who got out of the vehicle in a hurry, forgot to pull the handbrake, causing the sliding vehicle to be involved in an accident.

A snowball fight that started as fun in Başakşehir, Istanbul, resulted in an unexpected accident. During the evening hours when snowfall was heavy, two people playing with snowballs on the side of the road threw snowballs at a passing light commercial vehicle as a prank. However, this fun caused the driver to become angry.

The driver, wanting to react to those throwing snowballs, got out of his vehicle quickly but made a major mistake. He forgot to pull the handbrake. The vehicle, which began to slide uncontrollably on the snowy ground, moved rapidly as the driver watched helplessly. While one of the young people who noticed the situation warned the driver, the other quickly fled the scene. However, it was too late. Although the driver ran to stop his sliding vehicle, he was unsuccessful. The out-of-control light commercial vehicle hit other parked cars before crossing to the other side of the road and coming to a stop.

The moment of the incident was captured on a citizen's mobile phone camera, and the fact that there was no loss of life or injury in the accident was a source of relief.
