Meteorology issues yellow code warning for 6 provinces
The General Directorate of Meteorology has released the weather report for June 29. According to the report, showers are expected in some provinces, including the Black Sea coasts of Istanbul and the southern parts of Ankara. Meanwhile, a strong wind warning has been issued for the Marmara region and the North Aegean. Additionally, the Meteorology office has issued a yellow code warning for the provinces of Aydın, Bursa, İzmir, Balıkesir, Çanakkale, and Manisa.

The General Directorate of Meteorology (MGM) has released its latest forecasts, indicating that the northern, inner, and eastern parts of the country will be partly to very cloudy. Localized showers and thunderstorms are expected in the inner parts of the Mediterranean, the inner parts of the Central and Eastern Black Sea regions, the Black Sea coasts of Kırklareli and Istanbul, as well as the surroundings of Denizli, Afyonkarahisar, Eskişehir, the southern parts of Ankara, Sinop, Samsun, Erzurum, Kars, Iğdır, and Ağrı, and the eastern parts of Van. Other areas are expected to be partly to mostly clear. Winds are expected to blow strongly from the north in the Marmara and North Aegean regions, occasionally reaching storm force (50-80 km/h).
Air temperatures are expected to be slightly above seasonal norms in the southern and western parts, and around seasonal norms in other areas.
