An object, believed to be a missile, was detected in the sea off the Oluza locality of Bahçeli village in the Ayancık district of Sinop.
Upon noticing the object in the sea, citizens reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Following the report, Coast Guard and gendarmerie teams were directed to the area.
SECURITY MEASURES TAKEN IN THE AREA
Teams arriving at the scene implemented security measures in the vicinity. Citizens who spotted the object and other individuals in the area were moved away from the site for security reasons.
