Önder Kurt, an employee of the Yalova Municipality Culture Directorate, climbed onto the roof of the municipal building after being fired, stating that he would jump if he was not rehired.

Following the developments, Yalova Mayor Mehmet Gürel was informed.

Önder Kurt, who spoke with Mayor Gürel and was told that he would continue his job, agreed to come down from the roof.

Police teams, who launched an investigation into the incident, took Kurt to the police station to take his statement.
