Narcotics operation in Bayrampaşa: Half a ton of drugs found in vehicle
In an operation conducted on a vehicle in Bayrampaşa, Istanbul, 486 kilograms and 450 grams of pregabalin were seized. Four suspects were taken into custody during the investigation.

Teams from the Istanbul Police Department's Narcotics Crimes Division conducted an operation on a vehicle as part of an investigation carried out in Bayrampaşa.
During the operation carried out on September 14, the vehicle was searched. The search resulted in the seizure of 486 kilograms and 450 grams of the drug pregabalin.
In the first phase of the operation, one suspect was taken into custody. Deepening the investigation, the teams apprehended three more individuals determined to be connected to the incident.
It was learned that the proceedings against the four detained suspects are ongoing under Article 188 of the Turkish Penal Code (TCK), which covers the crime of "manufacturing and trafficking of narcotic or stimulant substances."
