Turkish Airlines (THY) has canceled its scheduled flights from Istanbul to Islamabad and Lahore due to rising tensions between India and Pakistan.

THY announced that flights to Islamabad and Lahore scheduled for May 8 and 9 have been mutually canceled due to political unrest in Asia. The statement included the following: 'Due to political unrest in Asia, our Islamabad and Lahore flights for Thursday, May 8, and Friday, May 9, have been canceled.'
The canceled flights include the Istanbul-Lahore and Lahore-Istanbul flights numbered TK 714 and TK 715, as well as the Istanbul-Islamabad and Islamabad-Istanbul flights numbered TK 710, TK 711, TK 750, and TK 751.
Passengers can update their travel plans through the THY website and mobile application.
