Operation against FETÖ's secret structure within the police
As part of an investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into the FETÖ armed terrorist organization's secret structure within the police, 51 suspects were detained following an operation carried out in 13 provinces, centered in Istanbul.

Within the scope of an investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into the FETÖ/PDY armed terrorist organization's secret structure within the police, an operation was carried out by the Anti-Smuggling Branch Directorate against 51 suspects in 13 provinces, centered in Istanbul. It was determined that 23 of the suspects are currently serving as active public officials, while 28 are employed in the private sector.
It was also alleged that the suspects operated at a responsible level within the police's secret structure, that there were whistleblower testimonies against them, that they had sequential calls, and that some were "Bylock" users.
As a result of the operation carried out against the suspects, all 51 suspects were apprehended and taken into custody.
