Person trapped under rock while searching for treasure in Kocaeli
A person who became trapped under a rock while searching for treasure in the İzmit district of Kocaeli was rescued by firefighting teams.

C.D., who was searching for treasure with a friend in a wooded area in the Karaabdülbaki neighborhood of Kocaeli's İzmit district, became trapped under a rock he had been digging under.
Upon notification of the situation, gendarmerie, fire department, Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), National Medical Rescue Team (UMKE), and medical teams were dispatched to the area.
After approximately one hour of work by the fire department, C.D. was extracted from under the rock and carried about 500 meters from the location to be handed over to medical teams.
It was learned that the injured person, who was taken to the hospital by ambulance, is not in life-threatening condition.
