Rain warning for the weekend from the Meteorological Service!
Cengiz Çelik, a weather forecasting expert from the Turkish State Meteorological Service, made important statements regarding the weekend weather. Çelik stated that cool and rainy weather will be effective across the country, noting that precipitation will be seen especially in the northern and inland regions.

Çelik said that temperatures will drop by 7 to 8 degrees, and that temperatures, which are currently above seasonal norms, will decrease rapidly on Saturday in the northwest and across the country on Sunday, falling to or slightly below seasonal norms.
Tomorrow, the weather will generally be partly cloudy, and short-term local precipitation may be seen in inland areas. On Saturday, thunderstorms are expected in the Marmara region starting from the morning hours. While these rains may be strong in some places, thunderstorm passages will also be seen in the north of Central Anatolia and the Western Black Sea region towards noon.
On Sunday, the precipitation will move towards the east, and thunderstorms are expected throughout the Eastern Anatolia and Black Sea regions, as well as in the north of Central Anatolia. Strong thunderstorms may be seen, especially in the inland parts of the western and central Black Sea regions.
WEATHER IN MAJOR CITIES
In Istanbul, while no precipitation is expected tomorrow, thunderstorms will be effective starting from the morning hours on Saturday. On Sunday, as the precipitation moves eastward, partly cloudy weather will prevail in Istanbul. Temperatures will drop below 20 degrees in some places on Saturday and Sunday, but will increase again towards the middle of the week.
In Ankara, short-term and local showers are expected in the northern and western parts on Friday. On Saturday and Sunday, there will be intermittent thunderstorm passages throughout the province. Temperatures will drop by 7 to 8 degrees over the weekend, falling to 19 to 20 degrees.
In Izmir, no precipitation is expected over the weekend. The weather will be mostly partly and slightly cloudy. Temperatures, which are currently 32 to 33 degrees, will drop to 26 to 27 degrees over the weekend.
