Teams conducting inspections on Atatürk Boulevard in the Talas district of Kayseri stopped a vehicle driven by U.E., whose license plate could not be identified.

During the checks performed by the teams, it was determined that U.E., who was learned to have been released from prison on leave, was under the influence of alcohol. While the individual was fined 25 thousand TL for 'driving under the influence,' his driver's license was confiscated for 6 months.

On the other hand, a car with the license plate 38 HD 678 was stopped on Erhan Street in the Han neighborhood, also in the Talas district, due to suspicion by police teams. During the checks, it was determined that the driver was U.E., who had been processed two hours earlier for 'driving under the influence.'

Upon examination by traffic teams, it was understood that U.E. was under the influence of alcohol again. He was issued a total of 250 thousand TL in fines—50 thousand TL for a second offense of 'driving under the influence' and 200 thousand TL for 'driving while his license was confiscated'—and his license was confiscated for an additional 2 years.

U.E., who was caught driving under the influence twice, was issued a total of 275 thousand TL in administrative fines, and his license was confiscated for 2 years and 6 months. Additionally, judicial proceedings were initiated against U.E. for 'endangering traffic safety.'
