13-year-old H.D., who went missing yesterday evening in the village of Şekerbulak in the Diyadin district of Ağrı, was found in the boiler room of the village school in the early hours of the morning. A search operation was launched in the area following a missing person report made by his family to the 112 Emergency Call Center.
The search efforts, carried out with the participation of AFAD and gendarmerie teams, continued intensively throughout the night in the village center and its surroundings. The teams found the child safe and sound in the village school's boiler room in the early hours of the morning.
The rescued H.D. underwent a health check as a precaution. Authorities reported that the child's general health condition is good.
While an investigation into the incident has been launched, the reason for the child's disappearance has not yet been clarified.
