Soldier send-off party in Çorum turns bloody
A young man was wounded in the leg after a gun went off during a soldier send-off party in Çorum.

A soldier send-off party held on Kapaklı 1st Street in the Gülabibey neighborhood of Çorum was interrupted by the sound of gunfire. During the celebration for R.Y., who was preparing to leave for his national service, the young man was wounded in the leg by a bullet fired from a handgun by an unidentified person.
RUSHED TO HOSPITAL, TRANSFERRED
The wounded R.Y. was first taken to Hasan Paşa State Hospital with the help of his friends. After receiving initial treatment in the emergency room, the young man was transferred to Hitit University Erol Olçok Training and Research Hospital.
NUMEROUS CASINGS FOUND
Teams conducting an investigation at the scene discovered numerous empty and live handgun casings in the area. Police teams are continuing their efforts to apprehend the suspect.
