Suspicious death in Istanbul: Male body found in vacant lot in Küçükçekmece
A male body was found in a vacant lot in the Fatih neighborhood of Küçükçekmece. While the identity could not be determined, the body of the individual, who is believed to have died a long time ago, was sent to the Forensic Medicine Institute for an autopsy.

A male body was found in a vacant lot in Istanbul's Küçükçekmece district. Citizens who noticed the body in a lot behind a 3-story abandoned building on Basınköy Istanbul Street in the Fatih neighborhood immediately reported the situation to police teams.
Upon arriving at the scene, the teams did not find any documents on the body to identify the individual. Initial examinations suggest that the person lost their life a long time ago. The body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute morgue for a detailed autopsy.
An investigation into the incident has been launched.
