Terror in Esenyurt: Long-barreled weapon attack on coffeehouse caught on camera

An armed attack on a coffeehouse in Istanbul's Esenyurt district yesterday evening was captured on camera.

An armed attack was carried out on a coffeehouse in the Sultaniye neighborhood of Esenyurt during the evening hours. In the incident, which occurred around 19:00 on 614th Street, unidentified individuals arriving in a car opened fire on the coffeehouse with long-barreled weapons. The attackers fled the scene rapidly in the vehicle they arrived in following the attack.

Fortunately, there were no deaths or injuries. However, some vehicles parked in the vicinity sustained material damage as a result of being struck by bullets.

The moment of the attack was also captured by the security camera of a passing vehicle.

 

The footage shows the moments when the attackers got out of the vehicle, opened fire on the coffeehouse, and then fled, causing panic.

The police investigation into the attack is ongoing.
