A cafe in Kayseri was the scene of a strange incident where the same person entered and spent time without permission for days. The suspect, who entered a business located in the Kocasinan district for 6 days, ate food, watched television, slept in front of a heater, and took the money in the cash register on the first day. Thanks to the business owner's vigilance, the suspect was caught on the sixth day and handed over to the police. The events were also captured on the workplace's security cameras.
ENTERED THE CAFE FOR DAYS AND SPENT TIME COMFORTABLY
The incident occurred at a cafe located on Birkan Street in the Sahabiye neighborhood of the Kocasinan district. It is alleged that an individual named B.A. entered the business in the evening hours and began spending time inside. The suspect, who took approximately 2 thousand liras from the cash register on the first day, later ate at the cafe and rested next to the heater.
Although the business owner became suspicious of the situation, the person continued to come to the cafe in the same way on subsequent days. Stating that he stopped leaving money in the register, the business owner noted that the suspect entered every day, ate, watched television, and occasionally slept inside.
CAUGHT ON THE SIXTH DAY
When the suspect came to the cafe again on the sixth day, he was noticed by the business owner, who then notified the police. Upon the report, police teams arrived at the scene and took B.A. into custody.
REFLECTED ON CAMERAS
Cafe owner Yalçın Kaya described what happened with these words:
“Today is the 6th day. He keeps entering the cafe repeatedly. I asked the police for help. On the first day, he emptied the register and turned on the heater to sleep upstairs. After the first day, I didn't leave any money in the register. He enters every day. He eats, drinks, and sleeps. When he entered yesterday, he even watched television.”
REVEALED TO HAVE RUN AWAY FROM A DORMITORY
It was learned that B.A., who was taken into custody by police teams, was staying at a dormitory, had left there to stay outside at night, and was previously wanted. The suspect's processing at the police station is ongoing.
