Traffic accident in Tokat: 2 injured, 1 in critical condition

Two people were injured, one of them critically, in a traffic accident involving two cars and a truck in the Niksar district of Tokat.
According to the information obtained, the incident occurred around 17:30 in the Darıderesi area between Niksar and Reşadiye. The car with license plate 57 FA 022, driven by A.G. (51), lost steering control while traveling from the direction of Reşadiye toward Niksar, resulting in a property-damage traffic accident.

Subsequently, the car with license plate 60 TA 636, driven by M.A. (50), stopped to assist after witnessing the incident. The truck with license plate 52 AAB 779, driven by M.Ç. (46), which was traveling from the direction of Reşadiye toward Niksar, was unable to stop and struck both vehicles, causing a chain-reaction traffic accident. In the accident, A.G. (51) was critically injured, while M.Ç. (46) sustained minor injuries. The two injured individuals were taken to Niksar and Reşadiye state hospitals for treatment. An investigation into the incident has been initiated.
