Tragic accident in Erzurum: Ambulance and car collide! 4 dead, 1 seriously injured
In the Oltu district of Erzurum, 4 people lost their lives and 1 person was seriously injured in a collision between an ambulance and a light commercial vehicle in the morning hours.

In Oltu, Erzurum, a 112 ambulance was returning to the district after transporting a patient to Erzurum when it collided head-on with a light commercial vehicle with license plate 16 Z 9275, driven by 75-year-old Feyzullah İyisoy, who was traveling from Oltu to Erzurum.
4 PEOPLE LOST THEIR LIVES
Following the accident, ambulance driver Fatih Karadeniz (39) and ambulance nurse Asiye Kaya lost their lives at the scene, while the other nurse, Netice Altınok, was seriously injured.
The driver of the light commercial vehicle, Feyzullah İyisoy, and his wife, Nacihan İyisoy (70), also lost their lives at the scene of the accident.
Fire department crews worked for a long time to extract Feyzullah İyisoy and Nacihan İyisoy, who were trapped inside the vehicle.
The seriously injured nurse, Netice Altınok, was transferred to Erzurum by air ambulance.
An investigation into the incident has been launched.
