Tragic accident on the Samsun-Ankara highway: Multiple deaths and injuries reported

Vehicles traveling toward Samsun on the Tekke section of the Samsun-Ankara highway lost control due to the road surface becoming slippery from rain on the winding, downhill stretch.
At different points, two semi-trucks, a passenger bus, several cars, and a police vehicle skidded and collided with one another. Some vehicles went off the road.
Upon notification, numerous police, gendarmerie, and medical teams were dispatched to the scene of the accident.
3 DEAD, 10 INJURED, 2 CRITICAL
Three people died in the accident, and 10 others were injured, two of them critically. The injured were transported to hospitals in Samsun and surrounding districts.
Traffic in the area is being managed under controlled conditions. Highway crews are clearing the road and spreading material at specific points to prevent further skidding.
