Tragic news for a family of 4 who fell from a bridge into a dam in Adana
In the central Çukurova district of Adana, a couple and their 2 children lost their lives after their car fell from a bridge into the dam lake.

In Adana, the car with license plate 01 JG 944, driven by Veysel Aydoğmuş, went out of the driver's control on the Çatalan Bridge.
The vehicle hit the barrier and fell into the Seyhan Dam Lake.
Upon notification, 112 Emergency Health, police, and fire brigade teams were dispatched to the scene of the accident.
Police divers launched an operation to locate the family of 4.
During the search in the lake, the lifeless body of 16-year-old Batuhan Aydoğmuş was the first to be recovered.
In the ongoing investigation, teams found the car underwater and determined that the couple, Veysel and Emine Aydoğmuş, and their 13-year-old son Mete, who were inside the vehicle lifted by a crane, had lost their lives.
The bodies, which were brought to the shore by boat, were taken to the hospital morgue after the examination. The car was also lifted onto the bridge by a crane.
Relatives of the family, who were reportedly on their way to a picnic, arrived at the scene and were overcome with grief.
