Moments of panic experienced by passengers on an Anadolu Jet passenger flight from Ankara to Hatay, which encountered turbulence during landing, were captured on camera.
The Ankara-Hatay flight, numbered VF4204 and operated by Turkish Airlines subsidiary Anadolu Jet on June 22, 2024, was delayed by 3 hours.
The delayed flight caused reactions among the passengers. The turbulence experienced during the aircraft's landing at Hatay Airport was felt intensely by those on board. As the plane shook, panicked passengers tried to get through the frightening moments by saying, "Land slowly, I hope we don't crash," and by praying.
"WE WAITED AN EXTRA 3 TO 3 AND A HALF HOURS"
Anıl Yılmaz, who stated that the flight was delayed and that passengers were frightened by the turbulence during landing, said, "We waited an extra 3 to 3 and a half hours. All our plans were turned upside down and we arrived in the middle of the night. Let's see how we will get home now. We came with this new company called Anadolu Jet, but nothing has changed. Hatay Airport constantly suffers this same fate. I heard the voices of those who were scared inside the plane."
