A fire broke out for an as-yet undetermined reason in the Üvezli neighborhood of Istanbul's Şile district.
Upon notification, gendarmerie, fire department, and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.
The fire spread to other adjacent restaurants.
While gendarmerie teams took security measures in the surrounding area, firefighters began efforts to extinguish the blaze.
The fire was extinguished after approximately 3 hours of intervention by the teams, while 4 people, including 1 firefighter, were injured while trying to respond to the fire.
The restaurants sustained material damage.
