Breaking news... Factory fire in Mersin: Explosion sounds heard!
Firefighting teams and TOMA vehicles are responding to a fire that broke out at a factory producing audio and video systems in the Toroslar district of Mersin. Following the fire, the cause of which is not yet known, security measures were taken in the area and the boulevard around the factory was closed to traffic in one direction. While sounds of explosions were heard, efforts to bring the fire under control are ongoing.

Efforts are underway to extinguish a fire that broke out at a factory producing audio and video systems in the central Toroslar district of Mersin.
The fire started for an unknown reason at the factory located on Akbelen Boulevard in the Hüseyin Okan Merzeci neighborhood.
Upon notification, 112 Emergency Health, police, and Metropolitan Municipality fire brigade teams were dispatched to the region.
After security measures were taken in the surrounding area, fire crews and the Provincial Security Directorate's Riot Control Vehicles (TOMA) intervened in the flames.
The boulevard where the factory is located, where explosion sounds were heard from time to time, was closed to traffic in one direction.
Efforts to bring the fire under control are continuing.
