Firecracker in child's hand explodes like a bomb: Caught on security camera

In the Çorlu district of Tekirdağ, the moment a firecracker exploded in a child's hand was captured on security camera.

In the Kemalettin neighborhood, 13-year-old K.S. was walking down the street with a large number of firecrackers in his hand when an explosion occurred.

The footage captured by the security camera shows the firecracker detonating suddenly in the child's hand, the child collapsing to the ground with the blast, and citizens in the vicinity running in panic.

It was learned that K.S.'s arm was shattered as a result of the explosion.

The injured child was taken to the hospital for treatment by medical teams who arrived at the scene upon notification. While police teams took security measures in the area, an investigation has been launched.
