Social media phenomenon notary Sibel Keskiner in prison on forgery charges

Sibel Keskiner, who gained fame on social media with her notary videos, has been arrested and sent to prison on charges of forgery. Keskiner, who served in Torbalı, İzmir, is accused of assisting a Çorum-based gang in conducting land registry transactions using forged documents.

Sibel Keskiner had built a large following by sharing videos about the notary profession on social media. However, she was taken into custody as a result of an operation conducted by the Provincial Security Directorate's Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime teams, on allegations that she was involved in the preparation of forged powers of attorney.

Within the scope of the investigation, it was determined that Keskiner contributed to the activities of a gang by preparing forged documents. Brought before the court, Keskiner was arrested and sent to prison.
