A send-off party was organized for a young man set to join the military on 7046 Street in the Yunus Emre neighborhood of Aksaray.
During the event, where tables had been set up and refreshments were being served, an argument broke out between the youths for an unknown reason. The argument quickly escalated into a fight, and the youths began clashing in the middle of the street. As the brawl intensified, the youths grabbed sticks and rushed into the fight as if heading to war.
Meanwhile, neighborhood residents who heard the sounds of the fight reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon the report, neighborhood watchmen and police were dispatched to the scene, and the teams that arrived shortly after made significant efforts to separate the youths.
When the police and watchmen were unable to contain the situation, reinforcement teams were requested. With the arrival of the reinforcements, the two groups involved in the fight were dispersed from the scene, and everyone in the street breathed a sigh of relief as the area calmed down following the police intervention.
