23-year-old Nisa Akdere, who lives in Pazarcık, Kahramanmaraş, was attacked by Y.E.Y. on the morning of Thursday, January 16, while she was walking alone on the sidewalk.

The woman, who was injured after the blow, was taken to the hospital by medical teams.

It was determined that the woman had fractures in her nose and shin. Those moments were captured by a business's security camera.

It was learned that the attacker, Y.E.Y., who was caught by police teams after the incident and brought to court, was released under judicial control.

"A VEIL FELL OVER MY RIGHT EYE, BLOOD FLOWED FROM MY LEFT EYE"

Describing the terrifying minutes she experienced, the young woman said, "I live in the Pazarcık district. Every weekday, I was walking to my workplace using the same route at the same time. The date was Thursday, January 16. I was a very short distance from my workplace. I was attacked by an individual coming from the opposite direction. I was hit in my left eye and fell to the ground for a moment; I couldn't recover. A veil fell over my right eye, and blood flowed from my left eye. After I screamed for help, I don't remember anything. I don't remember who took me to the hospital or who helped me."

"MY TREATMENT IS STILL ONGOING"

Stating that she was taken to the hospital after the attack and had wounds on various parts of her body, Akdere said, "While under observation at the hospital, I learned about the blows to the back of my head from falling, that the gap between my left eyebrow and eye was closed with stitches, that the cheekbone behind my left eye was cracked, and that the inside of my left eye had pooled with blood. I learned that I saw everything blurry due to the blood, and I don't know what percentage my vision is at the moment. My treatment is still ongoing," she said.

"I WANT THE ATTACKER TO BE CAUGHT"

Saying that she went to the police station after the hospital to ensure Y.E.Y. was caught, Akdere said, "I provided my statements along with eyewitnesses, camera footage, and my medical report on the assault. I was so sure he would be arrested. I clearly stated all my testimony. I knew the individual would appear in court on Friday, January 17, and I received news that he had been arrested. When I learned that he was released under judicial control just one day later, my world collapsed. I really want Y.E.Y., who attacked me, to be caught as soon as possible and receive the harshest punishment."

"MY PSYCHOLOGY IS IN SHAMBLES"

Saying that her mental state is in shambles, Akdere said, "Right now, this may have happened to me and I may have survived, but those after me might not survive. Perhaps they might lose their lives and suffer severe trauma. I have reached a point where I cannot go out on the street. My psychology is in shambles; please help me and support me," she said.

ATTACKER ARRESTED

The Pazarcık Chief Public Prosecutor's Office filed an objection to a higher court for Y.E.Y. to be tried while under arrest.

The suspect, who was taken into custody again, was arrested by the judgeship to which he was referred and sent to prison.
