Woman wanted with 233 criminal records and a 216-year prison sentence captured
As a result of an investigation conducted by the Kütahya Police Department, a woman with 233 criminal records and wanted for over 216 years in prison was captured in an operation carried out in Istanbul.

Teams from the Kütahya Provincial Police Department's Public Security Branch tracked the trail of Mine U., who had been wanted for a long time, to Istanbul. It was determined that the suspect, who had an arrest warrant issued against her since August 24, 2024, was at an address on Üst Street in the Yakacık neighborhood of Kartal district.
An operation was carried out at the address in question by teams from the Wanted Persons Bureau of the Public Security Branch. Mine U. was taken into custody as part of the operation.
Investigations revealed that the suspect was wanted in 16 separate cases and had a finalized prison sentence of 216 years, 3 months, and 15 days. It was reported that Mine U. had a total of 233 criminal records, including 208 counts of theft of property kept inside a building, 16 counts of violation of residential immunity, 3 counts of robbery, 3 counts of property damage, and 3 counts of simple assault.
Following the completion of the procedures, the captured suspect was handed over to the Istanbul Kartal Yakacık Martyr Aydın Barış Police Station.
