Young woman stabs boyfriend after being cheated on

In Istanbul's Kağıthane district, a young woman beat her boyfriend and then stabbed him in the leg after alleging that he had cheated on her with a close friend. The boyfriend, who was taken to the hospital, did not press charges against his girlfriend.

In Istanbul, a young woman beat and stabbed her boyfriend, claiming she had been betrayed.

The incident occurred last month during the night in the Şirintepe neighborhood of the Kağıthane district. According to reports, E.K. (17) and Ömer K. (22) had met and started dating some time ago.

However, Ömer K. began messaging E.K.'s close friend on social media. Upon learning this, E.K. told her boyfriend, Ömer K., that she wanted to meet with him.

When Ömer K. arrived a short while later, he and E.K. began to talk. E.K., who confronted her boyfriend about cheating on her with her close friend, became enraged.

During the ensuing argument, Ömer K. tried to calm his girlfriend down. However, E.K. beat her boyfriend and stabbed him in the leg. The young man was taken to the hospital by an ambulance dispatched to the scene and was placed under treatment.

It was learned that the young man did not press charges against his girlfriend.
