It has been claimed that US President Donald Trump has proposed a comprehensive plan to end the ongoing tension with Iran. According to the allegations, a temporary ceasefire has also been brought to the agenda to negotiate the plan in question.

15-POINT PLAN ALLEGATION

In a report by Israel's Channel 12 television, citing unnamed Israeli sources, it was claimed that the US has prepared a 15-point proposal to end the crisis with Iran.

The report alleged that the plan was conveyed to Iran via Pakistan and that the Washington administration proposed a one-month temporary ceasefire to advance the agreement process.

LIMITING THE NUCLEAR PROGRAM STANDS OUT

It was stated that the content of the plan includes comprehensive restrictions on Iran's nuclear activities. Accordingly, the Tehran administration is asked to terminate its nuclear capacity and provide a commitment that it will not develop nuclear weapons.

Furthermore, the decommissioning of nuclear facilities in Isfahan, Natanz, and Fordo is also shown among the prominent points of the plan.

URANIUM AND INSPECTION CONDITIONS

According to the claims, it is demanded that Iran stop its uranium enrichment activities and hand over the 60 percent enriched uranium it possesses to the International Atomic Energy Agency.

The plan also includes opening nuclear activities to international inspection.

REGIONAL AND MILITARY TOPICS

According to the information in the report, the proposal is not limited to the nuclear program. Reopening the Strait of Hormuz to maritime traffic and limiting Iran's missile program in terms of range and capacity are also listed among the parts of the plan.

In addition, cutting Tehran's "support for proxy forces" in the region is also shown among the conditions.

LIFTING OF SANCTIONS ON THE AGENDA

According to the claims, it is envisaged that the sanctions against Iran will be lifted if the conditions in question are accepted.

Israeli sources, while stating that Iran might approach the proposal with caution, assessed that the US might first try to reach a general framework agreement and leave the details for later.
