Former CIA agent Joshua Schulte (35) was also found guilty of possessing child abuse imagery.

WHAT HAPPENED?

The former agent was accused of leaking the Vault-7 documents, which enabled the hacking and surveillance of CIA-owned smartphones.

Schulte leaked 8,761 documents to WikiLeaks in 2017.

The U.S. Department of Justice stated that this was the largest data breach in American history.
