According to the same statistics, approximately 55,300 Israelis emigrated abroad during 2023. In the same year, 27,000 people returned to Israel or immigrated to Israel from another country.

In 2022, approximately 38,000 Israelis emigrated abroad, while 23,000 people returned to or immigrated to Israel.

In 2021, the number of those who left Israel was 31,000, while the number of those who returned was 29,000.
