The Israeli army announced that five hostages, three soldiers and two civilians, who were killed after being taken hostage by Hamas, were found in an underground tunnel in the northern Gaza Strip.

HOSTAGES FOUND DEAD

Military sources shared videos of the tunnels, which featured a bathroom with white tiles and a study room connected by concrete-lined passages.

While it was shown that one of the tunnels was 10 meters underground and the other was deeper, the Israeli army claimed that one of these tunnels extended to the house of Ahmad Al Ghandour, the commander of Hamas's Northern Gaza brigade. Hamas had announced that Ghandour died in Israeli airstrikes on November 26.
