In a written statement issued by the Lebanese Ministry of Health, attention was drawn to the clashes that have been taking place along the border line between Lebanon and Syria since yesterday.
It was reported that 7 people lost their lives and 52 people were injured on the Lebanese side in the ongoing clashes between the two countries.
The statement also called on hospitals in the region to make the necessary preparations to accept the wounded.
In a report yesterday by the official Syrian news agency SANA, citing the Defense Ministry's Media Office, it was stated that Hezbollah members had ambushed 3 soldiers from the Syrian army and abducted them to Lebanon.
The report stated that the Hezbollah members had executed the 3 Syrian soldiers they had abducted to Lebanon.
Hezbollah, in a statement, claimed that they had no involvement in the events taking place on the Syria-Lebanon border.
