74 people have died from lightning strikes in Bangladesh since April

It has been announced that 74 people, 35 of whom were farmers, have lost their lives due to lightning strikes in Bangladesh since April.

According to a report by the Dhaka Tribune newspaper, authorities in Bangladesh announced that 31 people died in April, and a total of 43 people have died so far in May due to lightning strikes.

Stating that 11 people lost their lives in a single day in May due to lightning strikes, officials reported that a total of 74 people, 35 of whom were farmers, have died since April.

Authorities have issued information and warnings to citizens on how to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
