American businessman Elon Musk has become the first person to see his net worth exceed $800 billion after his space and aerospace company, SpaceX, incorporated the artificial intelligence and social media firm xAI.
According to information reported by Forbes, the deal between SpaceX and xAI increased Musk's personal wealth by $84 billion, bringing it to $852 billion. The total market value of the company resulting from the merger is estimated to be approximately $1.25 trillion.
Prior to the agreement, Musk held approximately a 42 percent stake in SpaceX and a 49 percent stake in xAI. It is stated that under the new structure, Musk owns 43 percent of the combined company's shares, which are valued at $542 billion.

Data reveals that SpaceX is the most valuable asset in Musk's portfolio. It is known that Musk holds a 12 percent stake in Tesla and also possesses stock options valued at $124 billion.
Musk's wealth surpassed $500 billion in October 2025, exceeded $600 billion in December following SpaceX's new valuation, and reached the $700 billion level just four days later.
According to Forbes, by moving $578 billion ahead of the world's second-richest person, Google co-founder Larry Page, Musk has crossed a significant threshold on his way to becoming the world's first trillionaire.
