Abandoned suitcase at station causes panic: Station evacuated

According to a statement from the southern division of the French national railway company SNCF, a suitcase left behind at the Saint-Charles station in Marseille caused disruptions to train services.
The station was evacuated around 09:00 due to the abandoned suitcase, leading to delays in train services.
Train services resumed approximately 1 hour later.
Hours before the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games held yesterday in France, train lines were sabotaged in Pagny-sur-Moselle, Courtalain, and Croisilles across the country. An attempted arson attack on a train line in Vergigny was prevented.
An investigation into the incident has been launched, and the perpetrators have not yet been found.
As a result of the arson attacks, there are disruptions to train services, particularly those heading to the Atlantic, northern, and eastern parts of the country.
According to estimates made by SNCF yesterday, transport on train lines heading to the east of the country will proceed normally today, while 80 percent of services in the northern direction will operate with a delay of 1 to 2 hours.
Additionally, today, two out of every three services heading to Brittany and the southwest of France will operate with a delay of 1 to 2 hours.
