Abbas cancels meeting with Biden

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has announced that he has canceled his planned meeting with U.S. President Joe Biden following Israel's hospital attack in Gaza.

Abbas was planning to meet with Biden today in Jordan.

The Israeli military struck the Al-Ahli Arab Hospital in the Gaza Strip, killing hundreds of civilians. The attack drew widespread condemnation from Turkey and around the world. Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has declared 3 days of mourning.

BIDEN IS GOING TO ISRAEL

U.S. President Joe Biden will travel to Israel on Wednesday to meet with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Biden was then planning to travel to Jordan to meet with Palestinian President Abbas.

However, Abbas announced that he has canceled this meeting.

It remains to be seen whether Biden will propose a solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
