Tensions between Afghanistan and Pakistan have risen once again over border disputes and airstrikes. Afghan Minister of Borders, Tribes and Tribal Affairs Noorullah Noori has sharply criticized Pakistan's attacks on Afghanistan.

Speaking at a meeting in Ghazni province, Noori argued that Pakistan's military actions violate "good neighborly relations, Islamic principles, and the rules of international law." Stating that Afghanistan has the necessary capacity to protect its territorial integrity, Noori also drew attention to his country's military strength.

Addressing Pakistan's military and intelligence agencies, Noori said, "Do not exploit Afghanistan's patience and tolerance." Noori continued his warning to the Islamabad administration by stating, "Pakistan's military and intelligence agencies should learn from the past."

The tension between the two neighboring countries has recently come to the fore with airstrikes carried out by Pakistan on Afghan territory. While the Pakistani administration describes these attacks as "counter-terrorism operations," the Kabul administration views these steps as a "violation of sovereignty."

The statements from the Afghan side indicate that tensions may escalate further in relations that are already fragile due to border security issues and mutual accusations.
